The working principle of EPS block moulding machine mainly includes the following steps:
1.Pre-expansion:Feed the pre processed EPS (expanded polystyrene) raw materials into the Pre-expansion machine through a feeder,Polystyrene beads are heated and expanded to a specific size.
2.Filling: Expanded beads are filled into a mold cavity
3.Molding: Molds usually have specific shapes and sizes. As the beads is injected, the bubbles gradually expand and fill the mold cavity, forming the desired product shape.
4.Cooling and solidification: The foamed polystyrene in the mold gradually cools, the bubbles stop expanding, and finally solidifies. The process of cooling and solidification can be accelerated by cooling systems or water cooling.
5.Demolding:After the molding is completely cured, take out the finished product from the mold. After removing the finished product, further cutting, trimming, or other processing steps can be carried out.
